About the project
The aim of our project is to get to know better and to
introduce new generations who left their mark in the field of science, culture
and art, who lived centuries ago, contributed to humanity nationally and
universally with their works and works. Project Student Age group (12-19).
AIMS
1. To
introduce the notabilities,Who left an impress on history, to our students by
associating past with present.
2. To get information about the past by making the pupils be faithful to our
National and Moral Values.
3. To support students to use technology in the right way by using online tools
and web 2.0 tools.
4. To improve research, question, inquiry and presentation skills together.
5. To train up generations that are looking forward to the future and proud of
their past in addition to reinforce their patriotic feelings.
6. To enable our students to recognize different cultures and to discover
similarities and differences between cultures, to understand and internalize
the concept of intercultural communication.
WORK PROCESS
Meeting
webinar, task distribution, logo and poster design, school and city promotions,
adding students to twinspace. Preliminary research on projects and project
promotion studies. Project pre-evaluation with Web 2.0 tools and analysis of
the results. The activities; drama, song, poetry, interview, reading etc. are
carried out in the form of mixed country teams and supported by web 2.0 tools
within the scope of the project. Updating the eTwinning dashboard, establishing
collaboration between schools with online live communications. Uploading
products of activities carried out during the implementation of the project to
the twinspace on time and on a regular basis. Cooperation with mixed country
teams continues. Displaying the works on the school boards and uploading them
to the twinspace. Organizing school exhibitions, making dissemination studies,
creating e-books as final product. Giving participation certificate to teachers
and students participating in the project. Closing webinar
EXPECTED RESULTS
1- Students
will be familiarized with people who lived in the past and have an important
place in the culture of that country through various activities.
2- By supporting the courses with web 2.0 tools, students will be able to use
these tools and students will have information about the positive effects of
technology.
3- Effective learning will be provided through collaborative studies in the
educational environment.
4- The similarities or differences of people who have an important place in the
history of that country, which grew up in different cultures, will be
determined and the concept and variables of culture will be analyzed in the
best way.
5- Generations that will be proud of its history and walk confidently to the
future will be raised.
